Well you just need to make a connection that will turn the lights on. What do you not have? Is there a brake switch? If so then you have what you need. You just use hot +12 on one side and connect the brake lights to the other side of the switch.

A roll of wire should get you going. The switch will do the on and off part.

run a wire from the battery, to the switch, then from the switch to the lights... its as simple as that. throw a fuse in there as close to the battery as possible also if so inclined

yes, that\'s it...but as corroded as it is , there is a chance it may not work. can you test it with an ohmmeter first?

  9. I agree with FiddyFour, use hand signals, a "Cheap & Easy" way.

you can make the switch have either continuos positive or negative, when the switch is engaged by the pressure it will complete the circuit. So you use use either only positive or only negative wire tapped into the switch, just make sure the wire you don't use at the switch is hard wired.

Run a hot wire to switch, from switch to rear . If the 2 wires are coming out of the tail/stop lamp one should be tail the other stop. For testing jump the switch and with the wire to the rear hot touch each of the 2 wires . the brightest is the stop.

Hard wire, meaning a direct wire right to ground.
