I have seen it..but not up close to see how it was done..anyone on here Running full fender A that isnt running a headlight bar across the grill?

did they just cut it off after the headlight mount?..if so how well does it hold up?
do the fenders shake like ****?
    and so would the lights?
anyone got a picture of this set up? I know I saw it..and Im thinking it was on here.
maybe a show car that wasnt a HAMBers?

I've not seen this done, but if the lights were mounted similar to a fenderless car, why not?

nope ..i saw that..dont care for it.
what i did see was someone someway got rid of the bar..they still mounted in the same stock place..but there was no cross over bar..was a very clean look..and it drew your attention to the grill shell and the curve of the fenders..was dead ***y as i can remember..ive only seen it one time and i swear it was on here..oh and it wasnt the stock bar..it was the lowered version of the stock bar..so the lights didnt look like a snail eye on a stalk..

Now that might be the kit..i never got to see it up close..(was a small picture on a black car)..i like the clean look of it..any clue as to who makes this mount?
I might try to drop my original bar and trim off the center bar..what have i got to lose..right?
if it dont work out i can buy these..or just **** can the whole idea and buy a dropped headlight bar.

Cut the original bar then build extra suports in the fender suports. Look at a 33/34 they have good size braces. That should hold the lights up.

yeah i was thinking about the lack of support the original fender support is..it kinda relies on the head light cross bar to stiffen things up more..But like you said there are other ways to do it under the fenders.

I just helped a friend put a 34 back together and that is how the lights are and fenders are held up. Easy and simple just like my thoughts.
