Im gonna be there, look forward to meeting some HAMBers in person for the first time...I'll be the guy you have to look around for then you see once you look down ...So far im pretty sad because local fellas are saying rain the whole damn week....this summer has been not too good locally....but I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.... Tony, yep I'll be there. I think I'll take the Caddy 'cause the rear will probably stand the gaff for that short a distance. Longer trips could be a problem. I have just got to get at that thing and fix the gears and the bearings. Probably easier to replace the whole damn rear (piece of **** Caddy Seville from '78) with a 9" Ford which I have in the garage. Instead, I'm monkeying around with my Dodge convert. I'm just a stupid ***, I guess. Anyway, hope to see you there.
Not sure yet, trying to convince my dad to go as I can't afford to attend without sharing room expenses and if Daddy goes he'll pick up the cost of the room (Mom took my sister out west last month so now it my turn to be "spoiled" for a weekend...at least! ) If I can talk dad into it, he's thinking about it right now, does anyone have an extra room? There's also a Holiday Inn, Microtel, Ramada Inn, Hampton Inn and a couple of others I can't remember right now, at the Circle. Getting any closer will purely be a matter of luck this late, but you might get lucky and get a cancellation. Try Googling for "Carrier Circle" and they'll bounce right up for ya.
