Hey guys and gals Ive just joined although my man kept telling me I should have done it years ago! Here's the Ol' Bird, she is total work in progress... Hope you like it Missy
yrs ago ,I think it was Holman and Moody built some for ford that were sectioned. it was the round body and called "The Challenger.
I got a soft spot for wagons. I had a 64 2 door wagon a few years ago, but a divorce forced the sale...
howd you do the suicide hood? i just stumbled on all the falcon stuff on here....father in law has a 63 rachero and now i want a falcon real bad!!!
Hi Brett, How are you doing talked with you at the regional I was parked next to you with my '62, your plan looks good as is, do what you want
vertical grille slots and clear parking light lenses, still a '62; horizontal slots and amber for 63, but in 40+ years anybody could change parts on 'em! holman moody built a chopped and sectioned Falcon and called it Challenger... they had a hard time working out the rear so they put an aluminum fastback section on it. it's on their site, but only a couple of pics unfortunatley. i think they sectioned it 3 or 4"; labor intensive but Falcons are almost all straight lines under the skin. losing 4" not all that hard to do. chopping the top, however....
hey hows it going the show was a blast .. i have to post up some pics of the falcons that showed up soon!
haha well not a very nice way but i used gate hinges id have to post a pic showing you but there are unversal kits for like 150 bucks but for 9 dollars at tractor supply co. you cant beat it just something i masterminded one day just something different that ive never seen on a falcon lines up and everything closed
