What should I expect to pay for 34 Ford Standard 5 window coupe door moldings and quarter window moldings? I need them and have no idea what the going fair price is. Thanks
Depens mostly on your luck of who has them and how bad ya need them. I know not much help there,but I've seen some custom made of wood that was very ***y done well[like picture framing],and some not,plus some made of alum both good and bad. Point is,how much you wish to hunt vs how much work. I kind of liked the nicely done wood better then great stock frame. So just p***ing ideas along.
I paid $458 for my set of 5 mouldings two years ago, then had to sandblast them and do considerable work on them to make them look decent. You can get a new aluminum set on eBay, but I wanted to stay with steel originals. No one I know of is making steel reproductions. My website shows what all was involved with my restoration. I've seen originals in good shape go for $700.... Dan
