We are still thrashing to get the sedan ready for Bonneville.we managed to get the fresh blown methanol injected 540ci caddy motor fired up and get the cam broken in.
Thought you chaps would probably appreciate the video clip...Being a methanol virgin I'm kinda hyped about it.:D

Short of having to change the oil all the time, methanol is hard to beat.

Glad you guys like it,not sure if I want to speculate on a MPH ....might upset the salt gremlins! just want it to stay together for a handful of runs at speedweek and I'll be happy.Theres definately alot more going on and stuff to do with this motor,it's going to be a rapid learning curve for me and the chaps on the crew.
If your at speedweek we'll see ya there

Sounds a lot more wicked than the other Caddy engine you had in there...I predict about 297 mph...think you can handle that much...???

  24. Damn, a blown Caddy on Alky................ain't that something? Almost sounds as good as my blown MEL on Alky....LOL,,just kidding. She sounds great. However, you need to tighten up that blower belt some. Good luck.
