[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Three window. I've always wondered why the windshield doesn't rate a mention... [/ QUOTE ]????????? what do you mean??????? [/ QUOTE ] I'm talking nomenclature. A three-window coupe actually has four windows--1 rear, 2 side, and 1 front. I guess you could say a windshield doesn't qualify as a window, but it feels like splitting hairs to me. Doesn't matter anyway--I don't expect the term to change anytime soon.
It's called a three window yet there are four windows. Always kinda wondered that myself...and which window exactly is the one that isn't counted... whoops...just a tad slow there...haha

[/ QUOTE ] ha ha i had problems with that when i was a kid but if you think about it the windshield is never refered to as a window you roll down you back window or your side window ...but never open your front window ...its alway open the windshield???? i guess its just a name game???
"The front glass is called a windshield... not a window" Was the explanation I got years ago. That coupe sounded HEALTHY. Someone said the chassis was under his Bonneville car... he "detuned" the motor and then found the coupe body for it. Sam.
Nice pics is that Bass car with the bugs? I love a guy that aint scared to drive his hot rod everywhere.
[ QUOTE ] I like the early Ford customs the best. [/ QUOTE ] Did anyone get a shot of the Ranchero next to this guy? Thanks, Ed
big thanks to the vultures for hosting this event... we loved getting to hang with you all, it was worth every mile of the 1300 we drove this weekend to be there... awesome cars, really encouraging ideas and the quintessential types of people that make car culture fun. thanks jay and the rest of the vultures for putting this together... it was amazing, and we'll be there next year
Yeah Bass was up here for the show, got to do some drinking with him , and I'm sure he's got some stories to tell about fridays trip to the bars.

I had fun at this non-Carnival car show. Many thanks to The Vultures for a great time. Here are a few random pics, first my old shoebox. Used to be white. Ferby Miguel of the BASHR's model car club now owns it and has done a swell job.
Took pics of this for truck ideas. He had an exposed Mustang II front clip. Looked a little too biggish for me.
More mills, good stuff. Nice to see rodded inline 6's represent too. Unfortunately I don't have a pic of Chris' winning flathead mill!
