I need some help, I'm looking at an early 40's chevy truck, don't know the exact year. Pictures that I have found on the internet lead me to believe that it's about a 1943. I was wondering what it would look like if I cut it up. Took the front fenders and front clip off and put a plain grill shell on it, chop the top, and make the bed a little lower and shorter. I'm sure someone has either thought of this or done it before, I was just wondering what you guys thought, or if you have any pictures or info. Thanks
opinions we got. if i understand you right, you want a fenderless 41-early47 chevy pickup. now, as an ex owner of a COE like that, i know ugly. depending on what grill shell you use, you might be breaking the ugly barrier. are the fenders and grill THAT bad? if the grill is stainless, it ain't no 43 (43 is war years and rare all by themselves)
I just don't know about the look of it right now, I want something different and I don't know what to do. That's why I was wondering about going fenderless. I just want to know what it would look like or if anyone has any ideas to make it look different.
ok then, how about a 39 chevy car grill and a 4'box?maybe even narrow the box for some fat tires. no ifs's please, they just look goofy to me,
I'm looking for a little bit different look, more hot rod and different. Kind of like butt reynolds truck.
