Twin Drive Tach Magneto

    Can anyone shed light on this?? Heard of tach drive but what would other be for :confused:

    I believe there are two so you can use either one depending on which way you want the cable to run. I have a couple of dual points dizzys with twin drives.

    I've seen those on aircraft tach drives for dual pilot controls, like for fore and aft seating, etc,. What's the tach for?

    One runs the tach the other runs the Hilborn fuel pump for fuel injection.
    Most of the modern Sprint cars etc run a cable drive now days off the crank etc...:D

    Looks Mopar to me. One to drive the tach and the other for a fuel injection pump as previously suggested or could have been for a rev limiter.
