Dunno what it's off of, but going by the location of the hinge pads and lock, it's a rumble seat cover.

Probably the twenties, with all the wood. Probably not Ford, because I would think it would be all steel. This is a tough one, but I bet someone will get it. Actually if someone claimed to know, who would know whether they were right or wrong..

GM or Chrysler, and it was a rumble seat coupe or roadster. What are the doors and front end from?

It's not Mopar, at least mopars from 28/29 & newer when the chrysler family all merged.

Really not much curve to it at all. That may help ID. Is it a big lid? from a bigger type car?

I would guess something a touch later than the early 20's. Maybe late 20's or very early 30's. The reason I say this is the curve at the base where it wouldmeet the tailpanel. It seems that most early cars I've seen have a fairly straight line across the bottom edge.

It could be anything but a Ford.
The wood structure and steel skin construction was used by many car makers from the earliest days into the mid-30s. The simple lines of this lid indicate and its relatively small size(determined by the bricks behind it) would indicate a 20s origin in a lower to middle priced car. That's a lot to look at since the 20s was the decade when more makes of cars were offered in the US than at any other time.
