So last night i was browsing the old craigslist and i spot this old farm lookin' 58 ford pickup. it has 119,000 original miles, still turns over, its been in a barn since 1985 and has a clean ***le. The add says "make offer" so i e-mail them and ask whats thier bottom dollar and they say "you can have it for hauling it away" COOL! so i take it. I love how stock and stout it looks. Has the original 6 and all, i want to dust it off and try to get it running and use it like a truck should be. Now i just need to find out how to get it back from the Spokane/Cour de' lane area..

Keep in mind that free trucks are similar to free pets..... no such thing.

That said, it looks like you got quite a bit for your money.

Get the engine running, COMPLETELY rebuild the brakes, de-mouse it, and drive it back to the guy and give him a sincere "Thanks!" and take him for a ride.

    Very nice score.

I really would, but, the truck is around 250 miles from home where im picking it up, so that might be a little tough. But if the opportunity would arise, i will

I will make it worth your while if you drive the 70 miles to Sandpoint and drag it back to Spokane so i can pick up both the pickup and Touring in one swoop, hahaha
