I hope there is a good turn out to remember and pay tribute to a great guy. Unfortunately, although I had a Dean chopped car, i will be in Louisville for the NSRA nats.

    Hey all,
Johnny Dean here .... I got the OK from the Family to post the flier for my Dad’s Remembrance Party we’re having on Aug 2, 2008. The flier says Food, but it’s more like snacks, so Please eat before you show up. I look forward to seeing everyone and hearing the stories you have to tell.

My father heard the sad news at his Body Shop today.

He wanted to be sure to send his condolences to the entire family ~ Thoughts and prayers are with you now and as time p***es.

My dad shared some great stories and memories of years ago when they both traveled back East to shows for Hall of Fame events. They shared some good times. It was fun listening to him this afternoon talk about the laughs and cars he still remembered from then.

" We lost a great kustomizing legend today...."

    Sincere Regards,

Frank De Rosa Sr., and Family

What a wonderful turnout to remember our good friend ****. I am ****'s neighbor and will tell you I got so much enjoyment talking with him. We were talking about the Surf Wood one evening and it really got him going, so I got on Ebay and found a model still in the original box and bought it for him. I saw an older man turn into a 16 year old boy in seconds. I have been collecting model cars for years and **** signed every one of his creations for me. I would stand in my back yard and yell over to **** as he sat on the front porch. I have several antennas on my house and **** would always give me a hard time about them. Especially the older UHF antenna. I would laugh and tell him I still have a tv that uses that old antenna. What a fantastic neighbor and friend. On the Weekends I could hear **** getting excited while watching the races on tv. He loved the sport and it really showed when the subject came up.
****, I will miss your laughter, I will miss your smile, but most of all, I will miss you. Thanks for everything you left behind for us to remember you.
