Customs lace paint price?

    i know that this is a hard question to answer. i have a 63 nova wagon i want the roof flaked and a lace pattern done on it. can you guys give me a ballpark? basicaly i have no idea what i'm looking at price wise and i don't want to waste the painters time if i don't have the money. thanks glendale

    from my experience, paint is definitely one of those things ya get what ya pay for. i know that doesnt help much. i hope you're sitting down.

    does it need any body work in addition to paint? Because that would add to the cost aswell.

    I just did one, but for myself.....figure a couple hundred bucks for materials and a few days labor.

    As I'm sure Alex told you it is super subjective. There are a TON of variables to consider that affect the amount of work required like placement, pattern, amount of colors, body...

    The list goes on and on. I think it's one of those things where you might get a ballpark price, but be prepared to pay more. It sure isn't easy.

    I'm sure everyone knows this already but Alex and the Gambino crew are the ****!

    Absolutely......Alex gave me some good advice and tips when I ordered the flake from him to do the Impala.....great guy!

    I'm sure out there in CA, there's about 100 guys who could do it. 25 might be cheap, 50 average, and 25 high. You get what you pay for, I'm sure theres someone who will put lace on your roof for the price your looking to spend. Even though everyone says there looking and willing to pay for a good job, a good job usually costs quite a bit more than they expect.
