Really nice pics. Love the "MARQUEZ" truck the best. I might have to check one of these twilight cruises out sometime soon in the future. Looks like they've added some new cars to the NHRA museum since I was there last.
Yes, they do have some interesting new cars in the museum. Don Garlits Swamp Rat III and TV Tommy Ivo's rail comes to mind. Ken
Some amazing vintage drag cars for sure, and I was also digging some of the vintage stock cars as well. The Hudson looks bad***, as well as the Mercury Cyclone. I usually check out the NHRA museum when I head to the Los Angeles County Fair, but I might have to make a run out to one of these Twilight Cruises later this year.
Thanks for the photos. I didnt see some of those cars last night, they must have left earlier. Wish I would have seen the '59 Caddy and Riv. I did see a fellow Hambers 1940 Ford, flat black... dont know who's it is. Great looking coupe. The addition of the NASCAR stuff was cool too... Hyfire
The flat black 40 ford with the HAMB decal in the rear quarter window is me. Stop and say hi next time. I usually have cold ones available. ron
I noticed that red Merc had a plate that said yelosno or something like that. I think it used to be yellow with red scallops. Anybody know if it's the same car?
I was surprised because it used to look pretty ****py! Right out of the 90's. In the pic,it looked like it has had a makeover...I see he still has the ****ty mirrors on it! But it looks WAY better that it used to look! Trust me...it was BAD!!!! It's just SO close to turning the corner!!!
