I realized in the last post I didnt include very good pictures. Most of you didnt see this car in person and these photos still dont really do it justice. I didnt want to tag them on at page 5. Sorry. These shots were used for Billy's insurance. He is having Rudy make a tasty top and some other do-dads. Thanks to all for keeping the maturity level high on the last few posts. I think we have a nice crew of guys here. For the record, He drove it to the roadster show and after putting every dime he had in this car, he didnt even have enough money to buy a hotdog. True story. Please, it's all been debated before. I just thought I should put real shots of it up for you all. It ****s to get into a debate without real pictures of it. Cars are like women, they simply cant be too beautiful. He can be reached at 714-525-8705
Amen... I still drool over that car. I don't care what other people say... Thanks for more pics They make great desktops! Justin
Still a super sweet ride I dont care what anyone thinks about who did what before.Hey you can PM me the paint code if ya want BTW Iwould be scared ****less to drive that, some *** hole in a Suburban talking on a cell phone would hit it.
So clean. It will and shall be timeless. That motor shot is a sterling example of a un-cluttered, well detailed almost innocent feel. It needn't be wild or radical to draw your attention. Can Rudy build an Indian 4cyl someday? Nice encore.
Perhaps, as inspiring motivation relates to History and not "trends", we will start seeing polish and paint again. Seems most guys miss the fact that these cars were build for power and speed, form and function, and yes....beauty. If a guy had the money to do it, the aluminum got polished, the backing plates got chrome, the dash insert got engine turned and the car got painted. Hats off to Mr. Rudy...he put his talent and his money together in the most traditional way. Even if it meant he had to skip a HotDog or two.
thanx for sharing the pics truly an awesome car sure built by someone who knew what he was doing.. he sure made his homework
Very nice car but I am still hard for the pick-up truck that Rudy built a few years back. What ever happened to it?
I'm not worthy! Thanks for sharing the pics and kudos to Mr. Rudy. I submit that he set a standard that we should all shoot for.
Not overdone, not underdone, everything simple and in character. No excesses and no compromises. Open the dictionary to Deuce Hiboy and there should be a picture of this car.

I got to see the car in person today over at Rudy's...it's just as nice in person as it looks in the pictures. I like the fact that he didn't cut any corners on the build. "Period perfect" is the applicable term here...from the chromed but not dropped axle, to the cloth covered wiring...it's everything a '40s style Deuce roadster should be. Rudy's a nice and down-to-earth guy, to boot...and I think it's great that he's got this car under his belt and can move on to the next build. -Brian
