Event Coverage lead east whos going

well labor day getting here so whos going to lead east always a good time

 

i'm going. it'll be my first time.

are there any older cars, or just the 50's era?

 

ill be there..its 72 and older and exceptions for new cars if they are customized or lowriders i believe...

 

I always go (since '96), don't have time to go far or to too many- this one works for me car-wise & otherwise. WIsh I had a car together enought to bring - maybe by 2020.

 

Wouldn't miss it for the world!
Hopefully, we'll finish us the 56 Ford ragtop in time!
But in any case, we'll be there with the Kart.

 

Been going since 1986, wouldn't miss it. Plus it's the only time I get to eat @ Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.

 

I'll be with camera in hand Mark. We'll be there, its my favorite of the year! Bringing the '58 this year.

We'll be there in our same ol' "B" Lot spaces, haven't missed one since '84....Definitely my favorite of the year...

Definatley a serious think about going show for 2009.

 

You work too hard, Tell everyone I said you need a break, its a great show! One you can relax at.

 

dont know if i will be away for work or not. if im home i wont miss it. if i go its going to be in the beater caddy.

 

Ive been years ago and yeah its fun- unfortunatley, my dfamily needs to eat once in a while so working is a must usually... LOL

Since I wasn’t able to go because of my disabilities my wife would order the tapes from Fairway Productions, I really looked forward to watching them. We thought one year maybe we could try to go and take the grandson as the grandson always like to watch them when he came over. He really liked the dancing, and would wave, as the cars would come in. Then they stopped offering the tapes does anyone know why or if anyone else is filming them for sale? We even have the Fonz, the last thing he did was cut the top off a 4 door Buick 49 I believe. If anyone has coverage of some of the latest years after Fairway stopped I would like to buy a copy. The burn out tape was 2004 and the flamethrowers were the some of the last, we have 13 tapes in all. Fairway Production said we had all they filmed, they didn’t say why they quit but I’m guessing it was a money thing. It’s too bad because the people who couldn’t attend could enjoy the show also.

I would really appreciate it if anyone has some coverage for sale.

 

I won't miss it for the world.This year,unfortunately,won't be bringing a car.But the beer is still cold and goes down the same with or without a car.

Go to the lead east link, I am sure I saw the people that sell the DVD's on there somewhere, I'll go look for my DVD and see if there is a name on it - there must be in the mean time check here, Because they still selll them each year.
