  2. We have a complete New Yorker driver, with the 331 Hemi. Tough sell even before the economy went down the toilet, it needs paint, I had ***holes trying to tell me a car I could put on the road and drive was a $500 parts car. It came from out west someplace, the only rot on it is a couple of silver-dollar sized holes in the rear bottom corner of the wheel arches.

Mild custom is the key word here, those cars are pretty much right to begin with. I've always wanted an early "forward look" Chrysler or DeSoto. That thing ****in' rocks, man! I look forward to seeing more of it.

I appreciate the replies. I'm afraid anything more than loosing the emblems would be disatrous. I went to Richard Zocchi's site and looked at his '56....Damn,so mild,so nice. As of right now going to service it,switch to an alternator, duals, tires and neat caps. I have dozens of projects sitting but this ***** looks soo fine in black! I got it out of the boneyard I sold last year. It was worth $630 thru the crusher,so that's what I paid. I'd love to have that hemi in it.If it has a bent driveshaft from the loader ride it will get a late TALL gear and loose the tapered rear axles.
