Hi my name is Mike, I have been lurking for a while but just never posted an intro. I am 30yrs old, I was raised around hot rods & muscle cars because of my dad & uncle. I am into traditional cars & bikes, ecspecially 60' style stuff. I own a shop in Burbank Ca, we are the ones that did the air bags on lownslow's car. We do mechanical repair, small fab, engine building, transmissions, audio & multimedia. I have a 64 Rivi, a 55 Pan head, & a 50 Chevy Canopy Express that I am building. I will post pictures as soon as I get help, I am kind of a computer retard. You can see pictures of the Rivi on Happy Hoppy's post about Barris open house.

hahaha....actually thats an inside joke we have....i hate those motors...but it is already tooo late for my olds.....i already took out the motor and that gawd awful trans......i drive my car everywhere everyday so i opted for the 350/700r4 combo.....KILLER gas milage and i don't have to worry about tryin to find parts if i need something .......besides its a custom the hood will always be closed......anyway ....thanks guys for posting his car .....

and no it is NOT the black fly car......that one is done in pearls and mikes is candy......not to mention mikes is a 64 and the other one is a 65 ...maybe i am bias but there is no comparison between the two......

it funny he gets asked that ALL the time.....

  19. LOL, I do get that a lot. There are a lot of things I do miss about SoCal. I knew though once I moved there was no coming back (house prices). Except if I moved to Hesperia or something! I will be back in the fall so I will see how I really feel then. [IMG]

    Cool man, welcome.
I've resisted the urge to bag my '54, but I think on down the line I secretly want to.
I have no clue as to how to do it, if I win the lotto I'm coming to visit you.

  22. Man Donnie, I was just looking at the pix for the 10000000 time on your website. I think I am going to move back to CA just so you can paint the 55. Very, very impresive.

(insert sound of a throat being cleared) Hi, Mike. You know where else a good shot of your car can be found? Don't make me roll it up and slap you with it!

Oh, and on film (or internet), Jack and Mike's Rivis can appear the same. With no disrespect to either painter (Robert Deatherage paint the gold '65), they're both beautiful!
