Whos running the 60's Mustange radiator?? Its 130 at Autozone and has a lifetime warranty. did a search already My chevy has space available for a 19in by 29 in radiator. I can fit the Stang rad in any one have pics of a mustang in a tall radiator?? What do you do aboutthe gap in the bottom(that the square rad causes)? any one got pics of the brakets they fabbed up??
ran a 3 core in front of my yblock powered model t for years..worked great..fit in the shell..plan on running one in my 28 too.
I've got one in my '50 Dodge from Mustangs Plus. http://www.mustangsplus.com/xcart/home.php?cat=2064 Works and fit great. The only radiator I could find that would fit. I've got the 1965-66 302/351W conversion radiator, has the outlets staggered. They of course also sell the stock 289 version with the outlets on the same side, just depends on what motor your going to run.
Stock has both outlets on the passenger side, the 302/351W Conversion radiator has the upper outlet passenger and the lower on the drivers side.
Say a guy with a stock 1965 or 1966 Mustang with a 289 V8 wants to swap in a 302 or 351, he would get the conversion radiator.
I just ordered a 65-66 3 core job from some outfit in my state (had to pay the damned PA sales tax) for $125.00 & was wondering about the outlet thing. I'm using it to cool a sbc (stock 283) & am wondering if I can utilize the stock outlet locations on the radiator. I think I'll be O.K. with the upper, but don't know about the lower. Isn't it just a matter of getting the proper length hoses?
