Thought some of you Gasser street freaks would dig this... http://community.webshots.com/album/38417465dhAfhi
Marcus, Do you have the orig pics of these cars? My friend owns Kirbys 41 willys, would love to get a copy of the pic or any others you may have that he doesn't have. Steve
I too would like any more pictures of the "Narlock & Worthy" "Lil Hearse". I have an old May 1969 "Popular Hot Rodding magazine with a two page article with nice pictures of the car, but am looking for some nice close-up shots for reference so I can build a 1/25th scale model of it. So please, If anyone has any other pictures of this car, Please send them to me. Thanks in advance, azscotty
Was lucky enough to make it to the Fremont/Baylands strip for a nostalgia event in '88, too bad it's gone.
Fremont was the best! My cousin & I used to hop the fence @ the bmx track & sneak in.. Good times.... "This thread is four and a half years old and Marcus isn't even on the HAMB anymore." Not all of us have been hanging around here for the last 5 years. Thanks for bringing it back.
There is video footage of it on the gasser video's that the Jackson Brother's sell... It was black and had diamond-tuft back doors... if it's the one I am thinking about. Sam
My point was stated in my original post. My previous post was in English, perhaps you need it translated to another language?
old anglish is my dad's high school friend ray terry's car from san jose,he still has it ,it was a show car in the 70's ,i saw it in oakland one year when i was a kid ,it was painted by mike dewhite and still has the paint job [gold leaf and candy brown's]
no need to be an ass ... I was just wondering if it made you feel good to point out to an FNG that he was posting on a 4.5 year old thread ... I for one had never seen those pics before ... and was happy that azscotty resurrected this old thread ... and it appears (so far) that 9 other HAMBers enjoyed looking at them as well. I apologize if the intent of your post was not to belittle azscotty for his first ever post on the H.A.M.B. ... it just seemed that way to me. I realize that you have well over 5000 posts here on the H.A.M.B. ... and that you probably think that an FNG like azcotty ... or a lowly Grenade Inspector like me couldn't possibly have anything worthwhile to contribute to this site ... but I beg to differ ... some of the best posts I've read here came from FNG's ... it would have really sucked if a single sarcastic remark from Muttley (or HEMI32) would have scared TraderJack off after his first post ... well ... enough of this "message board drama" ... let's go back to discussing Traditional Hot Rods & Customs ... and maybe even view some cool pics of Gassers from yesteryear!
In the Jackson Bros. video, the Lil Hearse is depicted both as a blown car and of course the more familar injected format
