well im running working lake pipes on my car and have been really diggin the look of frenched in i did some searchs and found some stuff but still dont fully understand how wondering if anyone has some tech on in so im not going in blind thanks
I would think that using a piece of exhaust tubing a larger diameter for the outer housing to french into would be a good start. Then you would weld this to your body (rockers, front fenders, etc) and mold them together. Most cars did not have working lakes pipes, especially when frenched so I would think that the heat may eventually blemish the paint and bodywork used in the surrounding areas where the pipes are to be frenched in.
Wow, I just recently saw a detailed article on how to do this -- maybe a recent issue of Rod & Custom? (I p*** mine onto my brother, so I don't still have it)
i guess i didnt really think bout that i wonder how bad the heat might **** it up i need some pictures i just dont want to start weilding **** on my car less i get a idea in my head
