Before it is over this may well be on of the top five most famous cars ever to be on the HAMB...wow, I wish I could build something that would stir up this much trouble [IMG]

To me it is no worse than the PPE in the sense of impractical. I am kinda on the fence about it. I would stop to look at it at a show but I would never build such a car. To each his own.

At least it ain't being posted and deleted anymore...I swear that thing has been put on the HAMB at least three other times this week and it vanished. [IMG]

If I coulda built that car at 18 years old, i'd still be crowing about it. Its cool in a cartoonish RF sort of way.

At least its not a Neon with a 2 foot tall spoiler and grapefruit shooter exhaust.

the more i think about it, i realize i like it 'cause it gives the middle finger to (gold chainers mostly) society in general. it's rude.

i e-mailed the current seller, but he has yet to respond to me, if jersey is anything like delaware, he couldn't get that thing to pass state inspection to get in tagged...

I sure wish I would have built it and made the $9,500 profit. I'm sure the kid couldn't care less what the HAMB members think, as he is laughing all the way to the bank. [IMG] [IMG]

I just read the "original" thread to this, what a hoot. I don't know how I missed it the first time around.

OMFG! That mini RULES! You have to know that that little purple car was built just to make people laugh. That's a lot of labor for a simple joke...

I think his name is Andy Saunders
He built a Shortened Mini as well and I think he recreated a Detroit concept car. ( because he found the original grille, or something..)

That IS Andy Saunders... I have a very old issue of "Chrome and Flames" in which this mini has a full feature.
