I was looking at the lasted mag put out by **** (Trad. Rods & Kustoms I think?) and there was a little blurb about H&H flatheads in CA. The article had a pict. of a FH long block with what looked like a super 2x2 intake w/ a 4-71 blower on top of it.

Is such a set-up possible? Has asnyone seen such a set-up or was it just for a bling bling mag. picture?

I'm going to try & call them later today.

The setup is correct, it is a navarro intake most likely and is a blower intake, h&h looks a bit different because they have there blowers pruned which was the hot setup with Navarro and Beatty intakes. Pruning a blower is t******* the exccess fat and outside mounting holes, you then mount the blower by studding the lower flange, it gives a much cleaner look. Tom Beatty's tank was like this as well as the **** Kraft/Highland Plating Special car plus many others.

Probably a Navarro manifold. I just got one from them and they were great to deal with. Here's a post about mine as I was pruning the 4-71 case. Not done yet, but will post more photos as I find time to work.

They also do repro SCoT Blowers and intakes as well...

I think the SCoT intake looks more like a super-dual with the top machined off than the Navarro?

Here's a couple of pics I took in the H&H booth at the GNRS. This is their Scot style blower. Pure ****!

I think Ray has a set-up like that on his Coupe. Isn't this what you are looking for?

Uncommon does a few neat things, but here's a heads-up. They will not sell parts. (I was looking for a blower manifold) I called and was told point blank, "We don't sell parts because no one but us can get this stuff to work." The at***ude was a little much for me.

This looks like a Joe Abbin/Weiand setup. Was around 3K 6 years ago
