There is another similar thread running right now about this topic, but all the guy is getting is grief. Mostly unhelpful idol comments. Lets hope somebody who knows what they are talking about can full us in.
I just want to here from someone who has done this! I think the 32 Rad shell on a 30 or 31 is perhaps easier, however I want to put the 32 rad shell on a 28-29 roadster pickup. I already bought Walker rad for Model A and was going to use "filled in plain paintable steel" Model A rad shell . Can the stock model A hood be used? What modifications are needed on the hood? Yes it is afull fendered car!
I don't think the stock 28-29 hood is going to work with a '32 radiator shell... the 28-29 shell a different shape for one thing... even different than the 30-31 shell...
The Model A hood can not be used. Take your Model A hood and fit the '32 rad shell in front and you will see. You can buy hoods for this application. DJ Downtown Victoria. BC
