    Great show this week.

Heres my contribution. A hotrod inspired tiki and some pinstripes on my paint box.

Some great art as usual, got me wondering why hot rods look better drawn as caricatures rather than keeping to realistic proportions. One to ponder then, meanwhile try this-

I ran across this photo panaorama I took back in either 1998 or 1999 during speed week at bonneville, this morning. It still knocks me out remembering the last couple times I was there... what a great time! :)

Killer 50! Would ya happen to have a larger version I could print & hang on my wall for some inspiration?

  17. I am a little late to the show but wanted to post these sign I just finished for the silent auction at the HAMB nationals next week. A positive and negative HAMB logo (6x16) and a MOKAN dragway sign (14x20). Now I have to get them in a box and get them shipped out!

  18. PACHICO..--- That Chevy I looks great.
So do you draw the cars freehand then ink them up or do you work from photos>
You have a good eye for the hi contrast stuff; picking and choosing which features to highlight and which to silhouette. Very nice work.

    Good god - Jeff!!!!
Jigger - I illustrate on 11x17 paper with mechanical pencil, ink it and scan it into Photoshop to clean up tight corners and "fix" some straight lines such as grills or like the spokes in the front engine dragster. The reason I use 11x17 paper, I have a ton of 11x17 frames which I hang in my gallery at home.
    Thanks for the good word.

  25. Do all Wliiys'es-is have to be gassers???!!!

I like the eating of the roof esp.

BloodyKnuckles let Russ know that's one fine eye bone. I always wondered what the Dutch's flying orb looked like under the skin.

oO I love that painting! What a unique and well executed style. Just plain KILLER!

Jeff, your "haste" gives it great looseness and chaos. Newt would approve. We need to badger him to come on here.
