You'll spend hours doing it with hand tools and regular polishes. Been there done that, and they'll look mediocre.
Look in the phone book for metal polishing.
I gotta guy out here that does a set of skinnies for about $60. When he's done, they look like chrome.

Professional polishing shop. After that, you can keep them looking good with Mothers Billet polish.

What's your goal? - Shiny-smooth or the original machined finish?

    no pics.
sand the wheels with 240 wet or dry. - then go over them with 320 or 400. then i use 600 or ?? something fine. --- then get a white polish wheel on your die grinder & a pack of multi grade compound (black, white, gray, brown) read the back of the pack it'll tell you which compounds for aluminum. start polishing & you will get dirty but they will polish out nice! ---- you,ll need 2 polish wheels as you dont wanna mix your compounds on 1 wheel the wheels will never shine.

  9. i want shinny. but my mind can be changed with the right pics.

  10. thank you helped alot

  11. There's a fairly new product out there the trucker's use on their aluminum rims called "Purple". I hear it's the best.
