Hello all, I'm not new to refurbishing pre-1949 vehicles, but am new to Model A's. I just purchased a model A rolling frame with complete drive train (4 cylinder) and original radiator. Planning on doing her up as a salt flat racer. Any suggestions on tweaking the original power and cooling while keeping the original look? Any help is appreciated Go Devil
Hi Go Devil Lots of info here..., But May I suggest you do a proper intro before somebody busts your chops...! Include your Name, Age, Cars, where you are located and pictures of your projects..., etc...! Good Luck Mark
Hi. Better tell us a little more about yourself since it's like your entering someone else's garage. Guys and gals around here like to know a little about who they are talking to before they start answering questions and such. Give us a little more of an introduction.

Welcome Sharek. Glad your encouraging your daughter's interest in traditional rods. You might want to check out these guys if you want to hop up that 4 banger www.secretsofspeed.com
Welcome to the HAMB. Those A engines can be made to fly, lots of go-fast stuff available, did you know they are 200 c.i.? stopping can be a problem tho with cable operated brakes, that's when you become a real hot rodder & fit later brakes etc. Let the fun begin
DUDE you bought your 12 yo daughter a Model A??? She has GOT to be a cool chick!! You are both welcome!
Welcome Sharek: Check out the Secrets of Speed Society for go fast stuff. I think the Northwest Vintage Speedster site has some too. For metalshaping,if your not a member already, check out the links in my signiture. .
