Ryan did a Jalopy Journal entry on the Shorpy site a couple months ago. If you for some reason don't read the Jalopy Journal entries you really should start. The are pretty fantastical.
Thanks for mentioning that, I check out the JJ once a week, must have missed Ryan's feature on the Shorpy site, guess a few others missed it too. Fair amount of Pre 1925 Race Car photos on the site.

Anyone ever look at pics like these and wonder if they're looking at the same car that's now in their garage?
That is always a possibility,you never know. When i brought home my 29 Chevy ,my neighbor came over to look at it. After many questions about where it came from,he described perfectly the barn of his families old farm,that had housed it for all those years. Ironic thing was it's about 1500 miles from my location. He'd been the one who cut it into a p'u from a 4 dr,during WWII.
Shorpy.com is quite possibly the greatest invention since chrome fender vents and two-way sneeze-thru wind guards. And opposable thumbs.
