To be perfectly honest, not my type of car at all, not even close. But, I would cruise around in that thing and it seems pretty respectable, a bit outside the box in some cool ways (credit for that) and and seems pretty well done. I think the color is perfect for it actually.

That car ****s. I wouldn't call it a 60's show car more like a 2008 style Show Car...like allot of these guys building 60's style show rods.. most of them miss the mark.. I appreciate
the work that went into it but.. I don't get it. Looks like a Rat Rod with lots of Paint and Chrome.

Thats just my opinion... And what Do I know.. :D

Car was just sold on Ebay within last couple weeks for $60K and yes it was in R&C last month. Cool ride, imagine someone putting shiny paint on a street rod :)

It looks a lot better than before.. It used to have big wheels..

My buddy Jesus "Big Watcha" (who you met in Austin Jeff) gave the promoters at the SF Rod, Custom & Motorcycle Show a hard time and told them that the car needed to be on the main floor on the set-up day.. the guys had it in a different room.. and on Saturday we see it on the main floor.. the owner came up to Jesus and thanked him..

It's not really my taste.. but it is well built, and like you said Jeff it does look like a drawing..

  11. It is pretty overall, but like others have said, the modern stuff ruins it. The chop looks wrong.

Really nice car. While i wouldn't have done a couple of the mod myself. The over all theme goes really well. I like the chop, alot different than you usually see. well done rear lights and the color is right on. I give it a B+

I like it (a lot) but agree that some of it is overdone, and it is DEFINITELY mo bettuh with the new (OLD?) rolling stock. Airbags?! This car needs some rake.

    The feeling is mewchul!

It's an example of a what can be done car. What can be done no matter what. Some cars get built with tons of work and money yet when I look at them I ask why. The guy just got it built then sold it. The "broken top chop" has ruined it. It looks damaged. Bags on a Hot Rod will be as popular and long lived as the van trend was. Obvious excellent craftsmanship, beautiful details. I would like to have some of those parts.

Thanks for that link. Any of you other posters who have not looked at the pictures on this link should. This thing is really nice......a street rod...yes, HAMB friendly...not really. I want to apologize for comparing my T to this one. Mine is a HAMB friendly drive the **** of of it type car but cannot compete on this level.

Jeff thanks for posting this...it took a ****load of work and a lot of $$$ to get to this level......I couldn't afford the gold chains needed to drive this thing.

You guys (and gal) are throwing the baby out with the bathwater. So it's got weird backing plates and some other funky details. If you owned it, changed those things that would make it your own. No need to bash the hell out of it. It's a cool car that needs a new owner. If I had the bread, it would be in my garage right now. Oh wait, it wouldn't be in the garage..............I'd be driving it like it's stolen.

Swap the front tires and backing plates.

Black out the front crossmember that is showing up behind the grille.

The airbags don't bother me much, they don't jump out at you tucked away below the headlights. And it still has a straight axle.

I give it an A+... it screams 60s show car louder than anything I've seen here in a long time.

    Huh...

Makes me wonder about what some of you guys would would ***** about if someone built these today.
