Very nice man...very nice... I looked for a model A for awhile...but only came up with model Ts ....the only A's I found were WAY expensive...like 4000 for a rusted out barely recognizable s**** pile of metal mush. My father inlaw and I picked up 3 60s f100s for 1200 bucks...all in decent shape...they all needed alot of work..but so far so good.

in rough form when we first bought them...now sits on the back the bed of a 64 sytleside that im cutting out the bed to put a metal tube framework..and some nice wood floor down in place of the metal..similar to the 60s chevys. Depends on if I get crazy with my tubing and like the way that looks beter! but I doubt it. I like wood beds.

anytime someone asks a question that has been asked many times before there is always some smart*** that has to sound like a know it all and tell the whole world that it has been posted many times before...so what...do it again...what does it hurt

HAHA! yeah. well I never really thought asking a question would ruffle so many feathers... Does it really offend someone for me to ask a question about something Im curious about....granted I can somewhat understand "the hey i wanna read something new" idea..but ****..this site has so many new post daily its hard to keep up sometimes...so I know we aint hurtin for content!!

  5. Roadstar, the floor looks great.
I decided to do what you did with the many tack welds holding it together.

Although the whole floor will come out . . . it's the trans tunnel and firewall mounting flange that'll get tacked.

Well, I ordered my Gennie Shifter last friday from obsolete ford parts..(clasic auto) got it for a good price.about 40 under the gennie shifters price. It apparently is backordered though. Should be in with in the next week. I went with the 23 inch swan mid mount. It doesnt come with a boot or a fancy knob.. but that will come with time. My problem know is that the ****** rebuilders when they swapped cases didnt have the right part to let the shifter rod go into park... so It goes through all the gears but not park... I guess Ill have to start it in neutral so I can get it to the shop to swap the rod out. Any tips for install?

i have had both, both on a c4, now i did love the shift knob options for the gennie, i liked my lokar a little better. seemed more positive when changing gears. the gennie seemed like you really had to try and keep track of where the gennie was in the pattern. just my $.02
