Okay so the hubby, Von Franco, is on his way to the HAMB drags and reminded me five times to make sure his new art gets on the post.... So.... here it is. The first two are on wood and he took them with him to sell at the drags. The second one is another Wacom piece.

I was going to include a stick figure drawing I doodled but figured it wouldn't hold up! :p

Here's Franco's stuff, hope you all like it.

  10. This week's show is off to a killer start.

Here's a couple of pith helmets I did for GreenMtnBoy and his Dad, so they wouldn't get their pasty white skin sunburned at Bonneville. Man-oh-man cloth helmets are a BITCH to paint on...

    Great stuff so far everyone!

Those helmets look like leather in the pics. You did an excellent job for it being cloth!

Did some treasure hunting last weekend and shot this. Some photoshop tweaks - is it art? :) I know - beating a dead horse....

I wish I had a smidge of the talent I've seen in these art shows.

Here's something I put together in photoshop for the amusement of some friends on another forum.......

Von Franco's new stuff rules! Cody--- those are killer!
Rob, man... don't apologize for the pics... those are incredible! (I'd even settle for a night-vision camera shot of your work!)
Ruben... your work is just amazing... Another outstanding piece!
    Pacheco, great stuff each week!

I've been absolutely buried with projects...

Perhaps slightly O/T... but hot-rod inspired, anyway:

I posted these on another thread but why not.......here's an artsy shot of some striping I did on the bed of the flamed truck I just finished (just did the flames and striping) The diamond plate reflected off the satin in a pretty cool way.

it seems some guys here may not consider photograpy as art......whatever.

Back in the pre digital days when I used to actually shoot film and print my own stuff....

God another reason to hate work...I'll post a couple of doodles later!

  29. A. went way over and above. The pics don't do them justice.
My Dad was totaly floored when he saw his "suprise". They were the perfect cap on our first trip to the salt.
    Thanks again man.
