Is there any aftermarket 4 barrel intakes out there for my 324 rocket, or is there only the 2x4 and 3x2 by offy. Ive spent the last few years with buick nailheads and dont know what really out there for my new ride.

I have the factory one I was just wondering if edelbrock or anyone made a aluminum aftermarket 4 barrel for it.

  5. Are you looking for an aluminum one cuz they're nifty or because your carb won't fit the original?

Fwiw - I bored the throttle bores out on a stock 324 intake and bolted a Holley 4bbl to it.
I think - after the boring out bit - it was a bolt on, but am not completely sure.
I do remember that the throttle bores in the stock intake were too small for the Holley.

Worked pretty good on the street and on the strip as well.

not to speak for you,but i think he wants the simplisity of a singile 4 brl.easy to tune, and they usually make more power.a good afftermarket one that is.as far as factory manifolds go 56 is suposed to be superior.i cant tell you if that is true.i can say the intake has a differnt port layout than 54-55.i dont like the stromberg 3x2 setup on a 324.i dont think it provides enough cfm.im sure it would run/drive fine, but still want more.
