Hey Guys, here is a clip from July when we had our best turn out of HAMBsters at a race meeting at WSID.. good luck to everyone racing at the HAMB drags that is coming up... cheers Stevehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqZcJkYiMi0
Hey Dick ............. get a move on ........... I was already jealous of you guys, now I think I just might hate ya.
Owe well hope you wont hate us for too long... most off us have had the help off QQMOON as he has pushed the class right along Cheers Steve
there's 2 other cars that are done & racing, but not shown in that lineup(10 of the 12 are)....plus another 5 that are well underway(that I've seen photo's of), and hope to be racing by end of the year..... current flavour of choice engine is the slant 6, but we've got flatheads, ford 6's, GM Holden Grey 6's, Chev 6 (in the build), and a straght 8 Buick, something for everyone. Since we're showing bits from that race day, here's a few 'regular' photo's for clarity (thanks TMF) Quickest on the day was Kevin with a 13.1 which is a credit to him as he's been chipping away at improoving his setup. (Note: we have a ANDRA governed rule of 13.5, so Kev's got to be careful, or he'll be racing with the big boys instead of us kiddies) I might also point out Coral, who consistantly blows me away with her enthusiastic approach, and regularly puts up a kick butt fight with all the boys.....great to see. Cheers, Drewfus
Running late (appoligies, my bad), This is our favourite Queenslander Nigel, better known as OBFB HA/GR here on the HAMB, and his very green flatty powered beast.... Again, appoligies for the very slow addition, Drewfus
I did get to meet Nigel at the HAMB drags, and he is quite the ambassador for the HA/GR cars down under. It was a pleasure meeting him and his wife and talking to them about the HA/GR's. You guys are setting the standard for the cars. I only wish we had that kind of interest in them over here. Robert
