I just used the inexpensive version of the National Chevy ***ociation rocker panels (inner and outer) on my '51 coupe, and they are not worth it - light gauge metal, contours not right, and the metal was already surface rusting! I used EMS on the other side and they were excellent - much heavier metal, galvanized, and fit just right. So either go EMS or buy National Chevy's higher-end ones. (I suspect they are EMS, but I didn't call and ask them).
I saw EMS finally had listings for the 53/54 chevys but the actual links to the parts are messed up. Has anyone tried these yet? They have to be better than the ones I got.
