This is a friend of mine's. He's affraid to sell it to me because I'll cut it up. I'm affraid to buy it because I'll cut it up.

We had just got it running after a 7 year nap.

We used a S10 SUV roof. It made the body more rigid.

It is welded to the body.

Looks real good. Are the welds below the insert?

Cool. I'm lookin at the pics, the middle pic looks like there is a gap behind the visor, and maybe above the doors, that's why I asked. Maybe I just can't see properly. I like your top better than the 57 Chevy hood I saw put in that hole somewhere else.

That is a cool roof guys and has got me real interested.
I got a feeling that this will be the way to go.
I may try some thing extra around the edges but boy that main roof is just right.
Thanks guys, what a great thread this turned out to be.
I am sure we can keep it going if any body else has stuff to show off or problems to nut out.
    Russ.

has anybody seen, done, or have photos of a T coupe body with a 28-29 Model A cowl/firewall on it? i've always been curious to see how it would look, and i've never been able to come up with any info or pictures.

I believe the model A cowl would be wider and the door pillarshinges are different, what are you trying to achieve?
Even the windsheild high is not the same so door heights are affected also.

Whatever happened to that T-coupe that BobBleed built??? I was hoping to see it once it was totally finished. It looked awesome during the build phase. Do you own it Dman?

Skratch was working on it for the Cherry Pie clone.
Cherry Pie (the Weezner painting) has a 28-29 A cowl.
Little Chris here on the Hamb I believe is doing the same thing. I've heard that they bolt up surprisingly well. I do like the cowl on the T-coupes though....on a channeled car at least.

Actually the gas tank and sides of the cowl bolt up exactly like the T coupe cowl, and they are interchangeable.

Someone on here has a T coupe with an A cowl on it... looks cool.

A HAMBER was involved in a project like this, its been several years ago. I have not seen it in a long time, dont know how it came out. Maybe he will post some pics now, or somebody knows something about it.
