do a search man, there is so much stuff about bangers on this site. Or you could post in the banger meet thread. I also think there was a recent thread about adapting a T5 to a banger, but im not sure... Good luck

Dropped a '60's Volvo trans behind a banger a couple of years ago.... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=168654 ...a nice little swap. I also run a T5 behind the banger in another A, and that is a really cool trans.
All Ford Parts in Campbell are up your way. Nice people to deal with, don't know how much hop up stuff for bangers they stock but worth a visit anyway.
