The bad news. Do to bad decision in the past with money i have decided to sell my hotrod. I do this with a heavy hart but know for me and my family i have to do this. This was my first true hotrod and will have a hard time seeing the truck go. The good news. Was talking to my older brother on the phone telling him my bad news.He said how cool it was that i was willing to sacrifice my dream for the family. He than said that he had his 1935 4door plymouth that has been sitting in a storage shed and that he does'nt have time to work on it.He said that i could have it if i wanted.Wow i was blown away the 35 has been in are family for along time my father was original owner. so fellow hambers any pic of a 1935 Plymouth 4 door so i can get a idea of what to do.
Sorry to hear your selling it, but you are doing the right thing for your family! Try this link for some inspiration http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=1935+plymouth&btnG=Search+Images&gbv=2
Now you and your brother can maybe work on it together and might be more fun that way too. Share expenses and enjoyment or just some good time together and still keep it as a family thing.
sorry to hear...you should sell it to someone on the HAMB though. got pictures, or is it already gone? good luck with the new project! -marty
This the proper stance and a little paint ... they can look pretty nice. With the long wheelbase and the weight of a 4 door sedan, they could be made into a nice riding cruiser for you and your family.
Try this link...you can find photos of almost every car/body style: http://carnut.com/photo/list/list.html
Everything happens for a reason, and you made the right decision. 35 Plymouths are a good lookin car even in 4dr form.
I sold my '65 Impala about two years ago so my family could relocate to the central coast. Get this, when I originally bought my Impala, I was looking for a '57 Chev 2 door wagon. At the time, everything was outta my price range. So I settled for the Impala, which was a cool car in its own right. A year later after moving, I found the car and was able to buy the car I had wanted all along. How cool is that? I completely agree with the quote above...
Sorry about your problem, but its hard to get a family in a pickup. My buddy had a quadraport 38 Plymouth rod and it was neat ride. Family fit too.
well i hope by doing this i wont have to get the 2nd job.The 35 is complete - no moter and trans.would like to keep it simple and cheap. nice cruzer around town.i am all about fun so the simpler the better
A brother is like a best friend that you still have to talk to even when your mad them. Sorry about your situation. Your 4 door would look bad *** in a flat color(any),with old dirty halibrands, and layin on the frame.
Many of us have had to make those kinds of sacrifice's through the years. Sounds like you have a great brother. Good luck to you and your new car. ........Mike
