I took this shot on Tuesday morning before leaving Wendover, way to soon to have left from other coverage I've seen. Oh well.....there's always next year!!

All great shots, but this one is especially nice. Sad that the 1149 team didn't make it to the salt this year, due to engine issues.

I found another. This is one I grabbed that someone else cropped. I would not have centered the car in the photo like he did.

 

Is it me, or is Gene Winfield a machine? That guy just never sits still. I hope I have an eight of that energy when I'm half his age!

i am definitely a crappy photog. i only took about 30 pics this year. i just couldn't get any daylight between the two car's tires. i couldn't even get the rear tires of the "617" car because just to the left, just out of frame, was a rental car. everytime i panned around, it would get in the pic. damn! oh, and take out the 'Bego.

this one i like because i took a few and i guess the sun came out or something on this one.

sometimes you have to make due. If you have a really nice shot and something is in the frame... take it and do some creative editing.
