Hi! I hate to bother anyone with such a weird question, but I need to get the horn ring/****on off this steering wheel preferrably without breaking either. If anyone can tell me how, that would be great. Also I know this wheel is from a Ford, but does anyone know what year, and what model? Thanks for any help in advance!

Try pushing the ring towards the wheel firmly and rotate CCW.

It looks like a 1959 Ford.
The ring is held on with a plastic retainer.
Push the whole thing in with your hand in the middle of the wheel and turn the ring about a 1/2 inch to the left (I think!)
Worst case, you break the $9 retainer, but they always break anyway and are available everywhere.

Thanks a LOT!!! It came right off that way. Glad I asked before I started pulling or prying! Thanks on the year info also!
