i've got a 1956 buick that i will be starting on this fall. the front floor pans have rust holes in them. i have been considering making patch panels if i have to, but it would be nice to have a floor pan to drop in instead. anybody know if 56 chevy pans will work? if not does anybody know any companies repoping buick pans?

The Chevy shares almost nothing with the Buick including floor pans. They are flat pans. You should be able to bend them up and roll a couple of beads in them. You can buy some on ebay. Not sure about the quality though.

Yer makin it way too hard on yerself. I Googled "1956 Buick floor pans" and guess what I found? You should try doin a little searchin yerself. You'd be amazed what is out there with less than a minute of yer time used up. Instead you created a thread and now you have to check back on it to find the answer.

Good luck with the pans. http://www.cl***icfabrication.com/
