I like the look so far, always liked the cowl to radiator upsweep of a circa 1933 Riley IMP, looks like Posie has been looks at a few English cars from that era too.

I think that is a 32 Brookville body (or maybe fibergl***) with the back cut off. I don't think Dutch would mutilate an original body.....:p

Dont worry, it is a brookville! He got it just to cut up. I met him at a party several months ago, and he showed me some pics of it on his digital camera when he first started it (some that are now on the site), he cut that body into many pieces, and hammer welded them back together. He is doing most of the work on this himself, his ideas may be out there (sometimes they are great, sometimes a bit extreme for my taste), but he is one hell of a craftsman.

Must be doing something right since half of the streetrodders and half of the traditionalists equally hate what he comes up with!

  15. I think the treatment on the cab is way cool, the long nose though.... I will have to see it when it is done.

Has anyone actually seen it? Looks like the body is cut down the center and maybe narrowed with a slight V'd windsheild and firewall. Still like the look so far.

The '38 lived up near me untill a year or two ago. I remember the year it was in the flea market at Hershey, before they cracked down on modified cars. All the restorer types were crying about the car being "ruined" and were did the asking price of $20,000 come from?

Posies "statements" are just plain weird. He obviously knows his **** but then he goes & does something like this with that knowledge.

He'll screw this car up at least a half dozen different ways but that 3wd cab still kicks ***.

...& no matter how bad he screws it up, somehow I'll find enough about it to like it.

Cracked down on modified cars?? You haven't been to Hershey lately. Just kiddin', '37, see ya in about 6 weeks. Found a new place for lasagne, but it's not as good.

I like original ideas. I have never seen anything close to this. I will reserve my final decision until finished.

Well I like it. Of course, I dont tend to lean towards 'cookie-cutter' cars anyway. Seems like everyone and their dog has a stereotypical (yes, I said stereotypical aka-Predictable) ratrod out there. 'Bout time I saw something different.
Now just to chap you guys's rears, he should throw a Jag 12 cylinder in it...lol
