Mrs Jalopy and myself had a great time at the show. Did anyone but the last two panels? We enjoyed the surf band the panel jam and meeting a lot of great people. Then we went to the Anoka Auto Cruise after that???
too bad no one stuck around for the show that nite at that bar above another bar there on division street.
We left here at 7:00 am and got back about 5:00pm Mrs Japoly was tired ( shae was on call last week, worked 7 - 16hour days) otherwise we might have stayed longer. I went by myself to Anoka and ran into some one I had crewed on his Stock cars back in the late 60's and had not seen in 24 years. It was nice catching up on 24 years, I have been wondering this summer back in the 60's if I had stayed in Stock car racing and not gotten into sports car racing what might have been different? I know if I had taken up hot rodding I would have a lot more in my retirement account today?????
