That is nice. Yellow makes it look like a taxi. The other two colours are great.

I like it, but the yellow should have been orange tangerine candy!

  13. If you look at the 3rd pic you can see a spot on the gold right under the wing vent. I think that is how the entire trim is supposed to look. Nice Ride!!! Hey Royal maybe you could share the new camera with Lancaster. LOL>>>>.

What you can't see is the two metalic gold stripes on the wheels and the brown stripe from the fender color around ther metalic gold which pulls it together.

  15. get rid of the gold, yellow or whatever it is and you have a nice car...I feel like a moth and I am drawn straight to the stripe...

Me too, love the car, but ain't feelin' the gold, should have left it body color, or even fender color, but the gold just doesn't make it. Unless it's your crappy camera.

I'm not liking that yellow, maybe he should try a metallic gold one

  20. I really hate to bag on someone elses car, but you asked for comments. 1 the door doesn't fit, 2 the yellow/gold sucks 3 the taillights suck, 4 the front wheels don't look to be centered in the wheel openings. Other than that it's ok. Dean

    lmao!!!

  22. Lose the yellow "stripes" and I'd like it more if it had bumpers.
If the Mrs likes it, that's all that matters.

The guy built it for his Wife.
How many of you have built a car specifically for your Wife or S.O.???
If SHE loves the car isn't that what REALLY matters?

Cool old car, & bet that gold pops in person and makes it work. Bright & heavy metallic accent colors are funny that way and usually don't convey well on film.

Does the gold insert have any body or fender color striping?

You're exactly right. The brown surrounds it plus the metalic gold is repeated on the wheels which pulls it all together.

  27. Very nice car, don't understand how the yellow fits.

Nice job, his blessed to have a wife who wants what is fun to give!!

  29. I'd drive it!

Shortly thereafter I would put the hood sides on and paint the metallic gold accent the same color as the fenders...but maybe his wife wanted it that way.

    I like how it sits...
