hey fellas - newbie and have posted a few questions already... a recurring theme is that I better get my hands on a shop manual sooner than later found a couple on ebay... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1946-1954-Plymouth-Shop-Manual_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1713Q2em153Q2el1262QQcategoryZ34231QQihZ023QQitemZ360033858082#ebayphotohostingfficeffice" /><O></O> <O></O> <O></O> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1951-1952-Plymouth-Factory-Service-Manual_W0QQitemZ370053608378QQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p4506.m20.l1116 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Plym...m14QQhashZitem360080703118QQitemZ360080703118<O></O> in your experience - is there any reprint company or store that's better to go with than another? Is there any other source I should be looking at? Not sure if they have any manuals or books that are geard specifically for working oin these cars today rather than a reprint of the original manufacturers... They all seem to be priced around $50... the third one listed above is going for $19.99 right now (current bid)... anyway - just want to ask as a sanity check before I ordered one... as always, any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Try Walter Miller they might have an original - always much better than a reprint www.autolit.com Terry
is that right? The original is better idea? I found a couple of originals online... they're a little more money - but if there better I'll definitely go that route...
You can't go wrong with any of them. It depends on price and the vendors professionalism. The info covered in those manuals are precise and detailed. I get all my manuals from the bay and they've all been just fine. Very smart of you to spend the money and fix your car right and yourself. ******Knuckles
