Well the Vagabond curse didn't hit the Okies as we pulled out of Enid only an hour and a half after our scheduled departure time (about par for us). The old yellow F150 hauled the trailer, the T, and a load of rusty Tin for junk****er without any problems whatsoever. The air even stayed cold so my lovely wife Terry was happy the entire trip. Here are a few pics, since I was having way much fun with the T at the track and better photogs than I have posted pics, I'll see if I have some not covered yet. Not even gonna try to mention all the new folks I met and the old freinds we got to see again as I would leave someone out. Great weekend once again, but hey, IT'S THE HAMB DRAGS!, so who would have expected less.
I was there wearin' the same damn shirt you are wearin' in pic #11...and everytime I saw you, you were skatin' past me in the 'T' heading for the line...
George good seeing ya again once a year isnt enough. Glad you avoided the Vagabond curse. Even though I broke my pride and joy I still had a grreat time and as usual the weekend went by way to fast. Nice to see you having such a good time in the tub....that almost sounded dirty.
Had a blast for sure. The car went straight and came on hard on the top end. Gotta work on the reaction times a bit LOL. Good freinds, great weather, old hot rods, couldn't ask for more. Hope you get the coupe healed quickly and back on the road. GV
