Here's my daily. 1993 Bridgestone X0-1. A real hoot to ride. I have lots more but not many pics. Bikes are cool, but don't ever work in a shop. It'll kill the cool factor quick.

    Bikes, too many bikes.

My first rod/bike was this '51 Murray
    [IMG]
Alloy touring wheels, 7 speed hub, Stx/Rc crank it's quite nice to ride now.
After finishing the murray I found that the "factory custom" bike could be had for less than the cost of the the parts I'd added to the Murray so I collected
    A Von Franco
    [IMG]

    A Deuce
    [IMG]

And got a Taboo Tiki for my son's birthday (2001)

But my nicest riding bike is the one I built over the past winter and started riding in March
Who need pain when the frame is ***anium, a rat fink and a few flies are all that's necessary.

Montana Barn Find. 1961 Hiawatha. Found in pretty bad shape, I started on this about 15 years ago and set it aside for other more important projects.
Last year I got it together to ride around the Pits at Bonneville.

Laced new alloy rims to the origianl hubs, new springer seat recovered in Italian leather, Grips to match with streamers, new bars, NOS rear rack, new alloy crank, new pedals, painted in primer 'cause I ran out of time. It'll get shiney paint and new chrome one day.
    Fun Ride...

here is a couple more of mine a dyno duece and a electra rat rod. the elelctra is the best bike I have ever ridden .

    [/ QUOTE ]

Just curious...why do you like the Electra over the Duece?

How about a direct comparo [IMG]

I really looked hard at Dyno but they are a bit more money and seem to be hard to get since Dyno got bought out or something.

I really love my Rat Fink bike...I hope they do some more bikes with that frame...I m curious to see how they would turn out.

  14. He's probably got helium to make it jump higher man (you have to say that in your best Cheech voice). I wish I had pics of some of the bikes I built or had.

Hank, you got a good pic of the ones I auctioned at Deadtown?

I like bicycles, because kids can have something kustom that they can enjoy as much as us big kids.

I like the pic of MarkX's ride, he'll have to bring it the SK500 next year.

I am going to be chopping up the bike pictured below to stretch it out and make a lowrider cruiser out of it. For wleding on a bike frame, would my MIG with flux core work alright? or should I stick weld it?

Then theres the ?Murray? I am working on. She's gonna be the beast. I loved the quad trusses as a backbone. The minute I saw it, I had to chop it.

And a customers trike for her daughter, and my first flame job

anothers customer trike, this time my first try at candy paint.

Don't have a picture yet, I'll post one tomorrow or something, I have a 1955 BF Goodrich Schwinn Tiger, and the old lady has a 1970 Schwinn Breeze.

Both are stock, and both are on their first coat of paint.

Figured I'd make mine look a little nicer this morning...day off of work, nothing better to do.

Before (raked a bit more, stretched about5 1/2 inches, seat post leaned back):
