Thanks for posting all of that, Todd! :D

It's sooo good to see that Dallas is doing better and is obviously in high spirits...
Kinda funny - all those photos were taken at the hospital/clinic right across the street from where I work!

I had a Bonneville kick-off party on Friday, August 15th, and Dallas made the 1-1/2 hr. drive to come to it. I think he just wanted to see Denise and Megan ;)
He tires easily, but will come back around for sure.

Here are a couple pics from that night:

(stole this one from Denise ) That's Dallas' new Olds.

Where are you guys headed in a couple weeks?

These pix were taken end of 07/08. He's too tough to give up. He gave the wife an 'E ticket' ride in Hellraiser - actually I got one too:D Dallas got a kick out of the derelict 68 Mustang on the trailer (anybody need it?). There was a Ford flathead V8 under the hood picked up from HAMB'r 392_hemi in Chi town and a Studebaker flat 6 in the trunk - relay for HAMB'r Michiganman061 (Mich to Calif).

    Open letter to all H.A.M.B.'RS,

Thanks Todd for posting those. If I knew something more about this computer than just turning it on, I'd post some pictures.

Anyway, at the beginning last spring, when I was diagnosed with cancer, many here offered up their well wishes and prayers for my recovery. All I can say at this point, they worked.

It has been a long summer, but it's over. I am officially in remission now. So when I can get my strength back, then I'll be able to hit the streets more, and be back to "HellRaising".

I'll be looking forward to seeing a lot of you again at the HCPU this October.

Just remember...What we do....It's.... "For the Fun of It.

Dallas, you're a ruler. Now, don't make me come down there and get you for the Pile-Up. It wouldn't be the same without you.

  23. Breeder, I feel you. No, not like that so quit drooling!! My friend Annie, who I've know since 1984 got a clean bill of health in December after a 2 year battle with breast cancer. If you feel half as relieved and happy as I did then you're on top of the world. Good to hear some good news for a change.

Hellraiser, I met you briefly at Fool's before last year's Pile-Up and your vitality and love of life were overwhelming. It's good to see that you're doing well and "Graduated" with honors. hope to see you at the next Pile-Up.

Dallas, congrats on your "Graduation Day" -- your new beginning. I celebrate my new beginning every year on April 17th. This year marked the 18th anniversary of my last chemotherapy treatment. Congrats from one survivor to another! :)
