OK, after this one I'll be caught up on events...

The West Coast Nationals is definitely one of Goodguys' crown jewels. 2500 1957 and earlier cars. Lots of traditional stuff. Lots of who's who of hot rodding.

Here's some of what I saw. More in the Gazette.

You can even check out the Sunday awards ceremony on VIDEO... http://www.ggwestcoastnats.com/

My son & I were really checking this thing out. The guy behind the table very, very, very excitedly told us that Chip Foose had picked it as his favorite. You should have seen the look on his face when I said "Chip who?" :D

Did you happen to get a photo of the '35 Ford 3W that was parked in between the scooter exhibition hall and the "home built" area on Sunday?

The car was from British Columbia.

It was by far my favorite car there.

Buffed-out 40 year old black laquer, black steelies, mohair interior and a Corvette C4 drivetrain. Absolutely beautiful.

Killer stuff Kirk! You've outdone yourself this week! Lots of great stuff to see. I'm a ****er for deuce five windows and there was several to pick from. The Pacific Gunsight roadster is a favorite too.
Was Fonzie not at this show or was there nothing there that he liked? Was there really only one mullet sighting or are you loosing your edge?
It was really nice of you to bring out your Lego man collection.
Thanks for the pics man nobody does it better!!

There wasn't much Fonzie fodder. Plus I just didn't have the photo time I'd have liked because I talk to so many people at this event.
