  2. Pacheco, Dude, you are nailing 'em Brotha!!!

I'm seeking redemption and reconciliation after my last (first one the week) post

I had the image of a big ol' grinning tractor grille pop into the head so I quickly
comped out this sketch. (it could be a mid 30s Chevy grille too I suppose.)

I call it "In Yo Grille"

  9. Thanks man. I made the frame/background about a year and a half ago, and then never used it for what it was intended for. So, when this show opportunity came up, I dusted it off and I think it fit the work, so I used it.

  10. Yes-- Love it!!

  12. Way too cool. One problem, I hear too much song and not enough
    finely tuned Hemi.

I ran across one of my old pieces I had published in 1995 (Custom Rodder). How time flies! Now we have come full circle and appreciate traditional pen and ink techniques over 3d renderings.

  18. Hey Mike; I remember that image from the Automotive Art Special of Street & Custom Rodding Illustrated, Winter 1996. I still browse through that issue every once in a while... Very young Weesner in there as well.

  22. Check out this magazine from the UK guys: Pinstriping & Kustom Graphics Magazine. I'm pretty stoked to be a featured artist in their September/October issue. Havn't seen the article yet... just found out about it from their website... better order me a copy.:)

Put down the spray gun for a while and picked up some Sharpie's, airbrush and some colored paper.

Yes, what great quarterly publication that was, more automotive rendering styles than one could imagine in one book.
