The dust has settled and I just want to take the time to thank all the Wheels of Time Folks. Last weekend I was humbled and honored to have my roadster selected as a top 15 at Macungie. In way too many years of rodding this was my first ever award. What makes it extra special is the fact that my roadster is a pieced together remnant of a 38 Plymouth that was entirely home built. What makes it extra extra special is that it was selected by some pretty serious car guys who knew their stuff, not just the mayors girl friend at some local cruise night. Can't thank you enough, it made all those long nights in the garage, lost sleep, and money I should have put elsewhere worth the effort. Thanks to all of you.
Koz...its a cool car with a lot of neat details, let alone the fact that it was pieced together starting with a 38 Plymouth. It has the right look and if I remember correctly, you said you drove the hell out of it since you built it (30K miles sticks in my head). To me the milage alone makes it a cool car...you enjoy it! OH...and who are you calling serious car guys....didn't we have you paged to come back to the car and told you that you had to move it because it was parked in the way? Glad you enjoyed yourself!
Very nice, and a well deserved award. Gets me thinking about what to do with that '37 Plymouth parts car I have out behind the barn ...........
